Music store
Since the trade via the internet found its way, the number of trade-ins waiting for a new owner at music shops has decreased considerably. In general, ordinary music shops have little knowledge of "old instruments", unless the guitar farmer may have a separate department for them. If you are looking for something specific, you will have to go different ways.
The vintage dealer
In various places in the country you can find things that only sell "vintage". Often they roam city and (foreign) country or to get the instruments. The advantage can be that the trader has the necessary knowledge of what he buys and offers for sale again. Obviously the amounts that are requested are also there, so go "google" to find such addresses and immediately view the offer.
Marktplaats
As long as you choose to go and check with the seller yourself, the Dutch site Marktplaats (Marketplace) is a great option. See also my tips about eBay abroad. These also partly apply to Marktplaats, with the advantage that it is easier here to be able to see in advance what you are buying.
Other markets
Marktplaats is popular in the Netherlands. You can also visit the Dutch eBay or focus entirely on the guitarist at Gitaarnet (Guitarnet).
Music fair
In the Dutch cities Veenendaal and Groesbeek , for example, a guitar fair is regularly held. In addition to the guitars and amplifiers, it is a great place to look for parts and accessories. A small amount is asked for the entrance, but looking around, speaking like-minded people and listening to the performances in between is also worth something.
